The Space

On the first floor you will find a primary suite with king bed, a custom-built bunk room with four twins and a second king bedroom. There is an ample entry hall with lots of hooks and storage along with a full bath.

The primary bedroom's ensuite bath features a large walk-in shower with a window that perfectly frames the ferns and cedar trees of the hillside beyond. (Don’t worry, no one can see in, we’ve checked!)

The main double height space is lined with windows that flood the space with natural light and frame views out to the trees beyond. Pendant lights hang from the vaulted ceiling, creating warm glow of light to the space when the sun goes down.

The kitchen is stocked with high quality tools and small appliances – everything you’ll need to create breakfast, lunch and dinner at home. The extendable dining table can comfortably seat up to eight and four more can be seated at the island counter.

A large glass slider takes you directly out on to the deck with a dining table, grill and small seating area that is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Down a few steps from the outdoor dining area you will find the hot tub with space for up to 7 adults.

The gas fireplace in the living room (with TV above) anchors the main living area. A cozy corner window seat next to the fireplace is the perfect place to curl up a book or simply stare out to nature.

The open loft space upstairs is designed with movie nights in mind with a large sofa (queen sleeper) and the home’s second TV. The built-in storage houses a small refrigerator to keep extra beverages chilled.

Built-in twin daybeds are nestled in the dormers that flank the loft space. The daybeds can be used as beds or sofas depending on your group’s size and needs.

Kiddos will love the two little nooks/forts nestled under the eaves. They are cozy spots to ready, play or even nap!

The upstairs half bath contains the washer and dryer.

The Location

Set within the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie national forest, Fern + Cedar Cabin is just 22 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area and 2 miles from the town of Glacier where you will find some restaurants, a bakery and a small convenience store.
